ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS & WAYFINDING
The City of Miami hired yazi in 2020 to design a new comprehensive branded wayfinding program for the public park system in order to improve the identity, function, and enjoyment of City parks. Our solutions include a new branded sign program for the park system that will: visually unify City parks; increase awareness of parks; improve the visitor experience; promote a safe environment; consolidate signage and messaging throughout the park system; reduce sign maintenance costs through durable materials; improve system wide sign management.

With an ever increasing volume of visitors to Columbia each year, the City sought to replace their old and outdated wayfinding program. Yazi was hired by the City to plan and design a new branded wayfinding program to direct visitors to Columbia’s public destinations, vibrant Districts, and public parking.

In 2024, yazi assisted in the design of the signage and wayfinding onboard Margaritaville at Sea's second cruise ship Margaritaville at Sea Islander to re-brand the vessel to the Margaritaville standards. Two years earlier, we had helped in the development of new signage and wayfinding onboard their first ship the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.
ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS & WAYFINDING
For nearly two decades, the University of Miami has trusted our environmental graphic design experience to evolve and grow campus wayfinding at the University. With three different campuses, the present day University is an evolving mixture of historic buildings, core architecture, renovated spaces, and new construction. A few of our active and completed projects include the creation of new University-wide interior and exterior campus wayfinding standards; a new exterior wayfinding program for the Virginia Key campus; and exterior directional and orientation signage for new on campus housing villages.

In late 2019, yazi was tasked with the planing and design a wayfinding program for the new Inter Miami CF's Stadium, and the team’s neighboring onsite training facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The new signage and graphics we developed met both the team’s operational needs, and supported and elevated the Inter Miami CF brand.

In 2014, yazi was hired by the Town to help establish a new identity for Surfside and develop new wayfinding to direct visitors to the business district, parking, amenities and beaches. Working in collaboration with the Town, we established a new identity and wayfinding program that embodies the vision of today’s Surfside.
BRANDING & GRAPHIC DESIGN
Founded in 1950, the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami houses a world-class collection of art comprising nearly 19,000 objects and spanning 5,000 years of global art history and culture. What’s more, it is an institute of learning for University students and a cultural resource for the community at large. In 2009, the Museum’s director asked yazi to create a new graphic direction for their printed materials, publications, and exhibition catalogs—and we have been privileged to work with the Lowe ever since.

For the past 15 years, yazi has planned and designed a variety of wayfinding programs for UHealth—the University of Miami’s medical campus and facilities. Our work includes numerous projects for UHealth’s main campus in the Miami Health District, as well as ambulatory care centers and satellite facilities all around South Florida.

Solé Mia, a joint venture between Turnberry Associates and Lefrak, is an 183 acre master planned community rising in the City of North Miami. Yazi is tasked with developing all of the wayfinding and signage criteria for Solé Mia, including creating wayfinding strategies, philosophies, and specifications for both public and private developments within the project site.
